We are Hiring a New (Electric) Scooter Driver!

The Embassy of Denmark in Cairo has an opening for a full time Messenger/Junior (Electric) Scooter Driver to join the Embassy’s Administrative Section.
 
About the role
The Embassy is a dynamic workplace that is expanding its staff with a Messenger / Junior Scooter Driver. The Embassy is using an electric scooter.

The Messenger/Junior Scooter Driver
will be part of the Administrative Section, and will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of documents, and other practical and administrative tasks.

Duties and ResponsibilitieDelivering letters etc.

Various payments

  • Legalizations
  • Clearing consignments from customs
  • Minor maintenance work
  • Help in the Embassy’s reception when needed
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Driver’s license for both scooter and car
  • Basic English skills
  • Manage IT/Excel
  • Must be flexible with working hours, evening driving can be required
  • Team player. Will be working closely together with the Embassy’s two driver
  • Able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities, show initiative, and take responsibility for achieving goal
  • Contribute actively to a positive working environment at the Embassy
  • Be handy and be able to perform minor maintenance work
  • Knowledge of first aid/first aid experience/first aid course certificate, is an asset, but not a requirement

Terms and Conditions
The fixed salary will be according to the Embassy’s salary policy.
